- What are Certified Translations?
Certified (also sworn or authorised) translators produce officially certified translations, in other words, they certify the accuracy and completeness of the translation. Translators for legal equivalence are publicly appointed and generally sworn/certified or authorised according to the legal provisions of the respective federal state. These certified translations are needed for the registration of a marriage or the recognition of a school qualification or application for a new citizenship, for example.
- What to pay attention to when it comes to Certified Translations
It is worth clarifying in advance whether the translation needs to be produced based on the original, or whether a scan/copy of the original would suffice. For this purpose, please contact the responsible authority/office for which you need the certified translation.
- How much does it cost?
We charge a minimum basic fee of €95.00 plus VAT per page for birth certificates, school certificates and similar documents that cannot be edited. The amount of work required as well as the formatting determine the costs. Kindly send us a scan/photo of the relevant document and we will be happy to provide you with a detailed quote. Quote.
